ABSTRACT
Lipoma is a most common mesenchymal tumor of the body. It is rare in the gastrointestinal system. Colon localisation is seen more than small intestine, stomach and esophagus localisations. It can created need to emergent surgical treatment and it can mimic of malignant tumor as a result of obstruction and intussusception. The postoperative histopathologic examination is the gold standard and an important stage in the diagnostic process. In this article two cases of intestinal lipoma, localised in the cecum and ileum, are presented with literature review.
