Dear colleagues,

The changes about the journal began procreation. The new fashion is admired by our followers. We have received many positive feedbacks along with so many visitors to our web-page. I am glad to announce that the articles published in previous issues had way high reading frequencies and reference rates.

Honorable colleagues, I had notified previously that our goal is to be indexed in national and international services. As of today, I proudly remark that we have made applications to numerous indexing services.

On the other hand, we see a grade improvement in quality of manuscripts submitted to our periodical. As we promised, the submitted manuscripts are assessed and finalized in a very short period of time, and published as soon as possible.

You will find truly exciting papers in this issue. I suppose you will read with interest the systematic review of Vural et al. concerning a study of the stoma papers which was previously published in Turkey. The article about the impact of probiotics on the quality of life and defecation habits of post colorectal excision surgery may take quite a role in pioneering new indication on the search for probiotics.

In this issue, we make a contribution to the relatively poor literature in fecal incontinence and gastrointestinal stromal tumors. Moreover, we present alluring case reports for your interest.

From now on, you will be able to follow the journal on-line before publishing, and share the new articles through social media like Twitter and Facebook.

We are glad to feel your support.

See you on the next issue…

Dr. Tahsin Çolak
