ABSTRACT

in the submucosa of the gastrointestinal tract.The stomach and ileum are the most commonly affected sites. Clinical symptoms depend on the location and size of the lesion. Obstruction or intussusception is the most frequent initial symptom when an inflammatory fibroid polyp is located in the small intestine. We describe a case of Crohn Disease with inflammatory fibroid polyp with of the small intestine causing ileoileal intussusception.
