Pelvic Schwannoma Causing Rectal Peessuee: Report of a Case

Pelvic schwannoma is a rare tumor that originating from schwann cells of peripheral nerve sheath. We reported a 35-year-old women with a pelvic benign schwannoma that caused felling of rectal fullness. The tumor was 84×55×70 mm in dimension. Surgical complete excision of tumor was achieved by anterior transabdominal approach. Histolopathological and immunohistochemical studies confirmed the diagnosis. At 25 months follow-up, there was no evidence of recurrence.
